Lip Bumper

A lip bumper is a simple functional appliance used on the lower teeth. The lower molars have bands placed on them and the lip bumper bar is slid into the bands. By using this appliance the pressure of the bottom lip is taken off of the teeth allowing the tongue to rest in its normal position providing slow and stable expansion.
